Manny Ramirez, hitting fifth and serving as the DH, was 1-for-3 with a single and a strikeout in his Chicago White Sox debut Wednesday. He also was hit by a pitch. Ramirez was acquired earlier this week via a waiver claim from the Los Angeles Dodgers and was in uniform Tuesday. Despite coming to the on-deck circle in the ninth inning, however, he didn't have an at-bat Tuesday. The slugger grounded out in his first at-bat Wednesday and struck out his next time up.
