Young pitching phenom Clayton Kershaw was recently promoted to the big league camp with the Los Angeles Dodgers leaving his buddies back in the minor league camp wondering if he would ever come back.
Kershaw threw a hitless inning on Sunday for the Dodgers as he threw only 10 pitches and got Mike Lowell, J.D. Drew and Sean Casey out.
Kershaw isn’t planned to be on the big league roster when camp breaks in three weeks, but manager Joe Torre really likes what he sees with him, he just doesn’t want to rush him to the big leagues and see the highly touted player struggle.
The Dodgers have a great young prospect that you should see in a Dodgers uniform later this year more then likely. Hopefully he will be able to put up the kind of numbers in the big leagues as he has in the minor leagues.
