That means it's time for me to pull out my Kansas City Royals team gear and find my anything-can-happen positive attitude, and get ready for another year of fun. This year, as has been the case since 2003, the Royals call Surprise, Arizona, their spring training home. A visit to spring training means a chance to enjoy your favorite club up close and personal. Spring training is designed to get players into game shape and to get a look at up-and-coming talent playing against major league quality opponents.
