Kent finished the game with three RBI, Matt Kemp had two RBI, while Russell Martin finished the game with one RBI.

Joe Beimel picked up the win for the Dodgers as he pitched the eighth inning.  Derrek Lowe didn’t pitch that great as he got the start on the mound for the Dodgers.  Lowe only lasted five innings after giving up eight hits and six runs.  Only three of the six runs were earned.  Takashi Saito picked up his third save of the season as he closed the door on the Marlins in the ninth inning.

The Los Angeles Dodgers pretty much got man handled by the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night by the score of 8-1.  The Dodgers could only muster one run against the Reds pitching staff as their own pitching staff served up eight runs to the Reds.

Hong-Chih Kuo started the game for the Dodgers but only lasted 3.2 innings as he allowed eight hits and five earned runs.  Just a terrible performance by Kuo as he put the Dodgers in a very big hole early in the game.

Esteban Loaiza also gave up two runs as he pitched in relief.   Jonathan Broxton pitched one inning and let two runs scored even though only one of them was earned.  It doesn’t matter when your entire pitching sucks like the Dodgers did on Tuesday night, you are going to lose the ballgame.

Rafael Furcal was the only Dodgers player to record an RBI.  Furcal hit a RBI ground rule double in the third inning and that was all the Dodgers could get against the Reds.  Another terribler performance by the Dodgers hitters.

The Los Angeles Dodgers had no probles getting the win in Cincinnati over the Reds by a score of 9-3.  The Dodgers have been fighting for every win they could get and this one was much needed as they are now 8-12 on the season.

Rafael Furcal and Nomar Garciaparra both hit home runs for the Dodgers.  Furcal hit a solo home run in the first inning and Garciaparra hit a two run shot in the sixth inning.  James Loney had three RBIs with Russell Martin and Matt Kemp picking up an RBI each as well.

Brad Penny was the starting pitcher for the Dodgers throwing for six innings giving up six hits and only one run to the Reds.  This win put him at 3-2 for the year.  The closer Chan Ho Park picked up his first save of the season throwing the last three innings.

The Dodgers will stay in Cincinnati for one more night to take on the Reds tonight to see if they can sweep them in the series.

The Los Angeles Dodgers couldn’t get the hitting going again after only scoring one run in the fourth inning and losing to the Braves 6-1 in Atlanta on Sunday putting the Dodgers at 7-11 for the year.  They really need to pick up some more wins to get out of this losing slump.

Hiroki Kuroda is now 1-2 for the year after the loss to Atlanta on Sunday.  He pitched six innings before giving up the mound allowing seven hits and two runs to come in.  Joe Beimel and Scott Proctor finished the game for the Dodgers.  Proctor allowed five hits and four earned uns in his 1.2 innings of action.

Wasn’t a big hitting night for the Dodgers with the only big hit coming from Russell Martin
as he hits his second home run of the year.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will now battle against the Cincinnati Reds in Cincinnati on Monday
night.  They really need to hit the ball better on the road to have a chance at bringing the season back to where they want it.

The Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday afternoon by the score of 4-3.  The Dodgers just coudn’t get over the hump and score a couple of runs once they fell behind in the 6th inning.  Hopefully they will come out on top of these one run games in the future.

Hiroki Kuroda pitced 5.2 innings and gave up nine hits and two earned runs to pick up the loss.  Kuroda’s record now stands at 1-1 on the season.

James Loney connected on a homerun in the 6th inning for the main highlight of the game for the Dodgers.  Juan Pierre and Andre Ethier had one RBI each as well.

The Los Angeles Dodgers were never really in the game last night as the Arizona Diamondbacks put a butt kicking on them by the score of 10-5.  The Dodgers really couldn’t figure out Doug Davis who was making his last start before having thyroid surgery.  Dodgers pitching also sucked as the Diamondbacks scored 10 runs off of 12 hits.

Chad Billingsly took the loss for the Dodgers.  Billingsly only lasted 2.1 innings in a terrible performance.  He gave up five hits, five runs (four were earned), walked three, and struck out one batter.

Hong-Chih Kuo stopped the bleeding for the next 3.2 innings as he didn’t allow a run, but after Kuo was done, Ramon Troncoso came into the game for an inning and gave up four earned runs on only two hits.  Jonathan Broxton pitched the 8th inning and also allowed an earned run.  Terrible job by the pitchers except for Kuo.

Blake DeWitt and Jeff Kent both had two RBI’s each for the Dodgers.  Andre Ethier picked up the other RBI.
